Graveside services for Frank L. Vaughn, 66, of Palestine will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Palestine City Cemetery under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory

Mr. Vaughn passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015, at his home in Palestine.

He was born June 15, 1949 in Palestine, Texas to Dan R. and Margarette Gamba Vaughn. Mr. Vaughn was raised and lived most of his life in Palestine Texas. He was a Medic in the Army, spending time in Germany and many parts of Eastern Europe. Mr. Vaughn worked in the oil field as a pump repairman with National Well services. He attended Holy Ghost Central Church in Alba, and was Vice Chairman of the Friends of the NRA for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother; Chris Vaughn.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years Marsha Vaughn, two sons, Jason Vaughn and Jackie Vaughn, two brothers, Sammy Vaughn and Bubba Vaughn, and one sister, Barbara Harris and husband Bill.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
