Funeral services for James Lee Warren, 61, of Elkhart will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Elkhart Church of Christ with Revs. Andrew Chavarrilla and Chris Kenner officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Elkhart under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mr. Warren passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at his residence.

He was born on February 28, 1954, in Palestine, Texas. He married Debra Charlene Prater 24 years ago and had worked 26 years for Kenner Well Service. They were members of the Elkhart Church of Christ.

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Debra Warren; daughter, Amanda Warren; step kids, Wayne Allen and wife Amy; Debra Standland, Tifany Stone Dorman, Johna Stone; 17 grandkids and 1 great-granddaughter; his mother, Johnnie Salmon; step-mom, Dorothy Warren; brothers, Ray Warren and wife Dee, Kevin Warren and wife Crystal, and Jackie Warren.

He is preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Holcombe; his father, Hosie Warren; and his grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Johnath Allen, Brandon Standland, Christian Standland, Chris Giron, Ray Warren, Jackie Warren, Kevin Warren, Jeromy Warren, and Garrett Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Holcombe and Kurstian Wood.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel.
