Services for Mary E. Handorf Kennedy age 93, of Palestine will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Lloyd Handorf officiating. Burial will follow in Land of Memory Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mrs. Kennedy died Wednesday at Dogwood Trails Assisted Living Center. She was born July 14, 1920 in Anderson County to Stephen and Lilly Nemec Woodard. Mrs. Kennedy was retired from Memorial Hospital where she worked as a LVN nurse in the childbirth center. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Lloyd Handorf, Sr. and M.C. Kennedy, a son Jim Handorf, and a brother Steve Woodard. She is survived by her children, Glennell Rials and husband W.T. of Sherman, Lloyd Handorf and wife Priscilla of Leesville, LA., Sherry Morse and husband Ted of Temple, and Dale Handorf and wife Debra of Palestine, thirteen grandchildren, Mechell Rector, Melisa Rials, Mike Handorf, Josh Handorf, Scott Handorf, Arron Handorf, Gara Handorf, Melinda Newman, Mark Handorf, Stephanie Campos, Stephen Morse, Lea Childress, and Donna Eaves, twenty one great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Condolence calls will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
