Funeral services for Wanda Fay Hardy, 80 of Silsbee, formerly of Slocum, will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2014, at Bailey & Foster Chapel Palestine, with Rev. Davey Hobson officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.

Mrs. Hardy passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, in Silsbee, Texas. She was born January 27, 1933 in Tennessee Colony, to Lawrence Ingram and Gracie White Ingram. She was a housewife.

Mrs. Hardy was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Billy James Hardy in 2012. She is survived by sons Lynn Thorton of Campti, La., and Kevin Hardy of Silsbee, sisters Evelyn Bristo of Texas City, Earline Hancock of Onalaska, and Sue McGill of Palestine, brothers W.J. Ingram of Tennessee Colony and Tom Ingram of Elgin, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brian Thorton, Brandon Thorton, Roy Lostin, Chris Lamey, Jason Lamey and Justin Lamey.

Condolence calls will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Bailey & Foster Palestine.
