A celebration of life service for Carla “CT” Thompson, 66, of Palestine will be held at 11 a.m.. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Grace United Methodist Church with the Rev. Phil Chamberlin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
CT died at 7 a.m. May 11. She was born Oct. 17, 1947 in Palestine to Steven Hill Thompson and Geneva Johnson Thompson. She was a native of Palestine and has lived here most of her life. She had worked for Alcoa for seven years and Palestine Regional Medical Center for 22 years as a computer system analyst. She retired in 2005 due to health reasons. CT was preceded in death by her parents, Hill and Geneva Thompson.
She is survived by Susan Abbe, her partner of 43 years; and her aunt, Evaline Price of Springfield community.
This is to be a casual service and CT’s favorite color was red…..so wear it if you like.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 2130 Country Club Rd. Palestine, TX. 75803.
