Memorial services for Jeff Walker age 60 of Palestine will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Matthew Walker officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday before the service at Bailey & Foster Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 A.M. Saturday June 21, 2014 followed by Mass at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Mnsgr. Zach officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mr. Walker died Wednesday at the David E. Foster Hospice Unit at Palestine Regional Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1953 in North Hampton, MA., to Forest E. and Patricia Lucey Walker. Mr. Walker was employed with TDCJ as a guard. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents, and a nephew Roman Pfeffer.

He is survived by his daughter Patricia Walker of Palestine, sisters, Diane Walker of Palestine, and Suellen Pfeffer and husband Revard of Kilgore, a brother Chris Walker and wife Laurie of Ennis, grandchildren, Dacota Walker, Dusty Walker and Christian Walker, and numerous nieces and nephews.
