Services for Hector Castaneda, 46, of Dallas, and formerly of Palestine, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie with the Rev. Richard Tullius officiating.  Burial will be at Southland Memorial Park in Grand Prairie.

Mr. Castaneda died Wednesday at his home.  He was born in Kingsville and had lived in Dallas for 20 years.  He was reared in Palestine and graduated from Palestine High School.  Mr. Castaneda was Catholic.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Castaneda of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Grace Sewall of Cincinnati, Ohio; and brother, Joe Castaneda of Grand Prairie.
