Funeral services for Army Specialist Four Larry Vester Clewis, 22 who died in Kitzengen, Germany, March 25, 1972 will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the South Union Baptist Church with the Rev. T.L. Dilworth officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Hope Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Brenda J.Clewis; son, Kirt Andra Clewis; daughter, Chelice DaShond Clewis; five sisters, Mrs. Jo Ann Clemon, Mrs. Lillian Forman, Mrs. Faye Forman and Miss Fannie Mae Clewis, all of Dallas, and Miss Glenda Moaning of Palestine; four brothers, Bobby Joe Clewis, Rickey Clewis and Donald R. Clewis, all of Palestine, and Melvin Clewis of Gatesville; four aunts and six uncles.
