Services for Pat Main, 47, of Lovelady, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Southard officiating. Burial will follow in Fields Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Main died Friday. He was born April 4, 1950, in Palestine. Mr. Main was a 1968 graduate of Palestine High School and a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the United Transportation Union. He was also the Secretary of the American Red Brangus Association. Mr. Main was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Main.
He is survived by his wife, Winona Main of Lovelady; mother, Odell Main of Palestine; daughter, Mandy Jay Main of Lovelady; sons, Monty Main and John Fischer of Lovelandy; and sisters, Betty Overton of Palestine and Nancy Cheatham of Houston.
Pallbearers will be Jim Monaghan, Jack Cook, Hunter Fitzgerald, Smokey Killion, John Banken, Bruce Monk, Amos Hollie and Wade Stevener.
Honorary pallbearers will be B.J. Wright, Roger Main, Clarence Reynolds, Wayman Davis, Bud Thompson and Jim Hoot.
Condolence calls will be received from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
