Clifton Ray Broughton, 76, born September 23, 1936 in Palestine entered into eternal rest April 4, 2013.

Ray moved from Palestine to Houston along with this parents where he became a drafter.  In January 1966, he met Lynda, whose parents lived near his.  They married September 10, 1999.  They lived in Houston until 1971 when they moved with their two young children to Cypress.  The family loved camping and trout fishing in Colorado where they spent two weeks almost every year until the children graduated from school.  Ray was a loving husband and father as well as a good friend and neighbor and will be dearly missed.  Ray was preceded in death by Lynda who passed in 2009.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Lisa Rae Grogg; son, Clifton Ray Broughton, Jr.; grandchildren, Sarah Anne Grogg and Richard Paul Grogg, Jr.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 PM on April 9, 2013 at Brookside Memorial Park.
