Graveside services for W.B. “Bob” Jarrett, 84, of Corpus Christi will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Palestine City Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mr. Jarrett passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 in a Corpus Christi nursing home suffering from Alzheimer’s.

He was born Nov. 3, 1928, in Tonkawa, Okla. to Henry and Ossye Kesse Jarrett. He attended school in Palestine and played football in high school. A Korean War veteran, he worked in the oil industry for many years and enjoyed hunting and fishing as hobbies.

He is survived by two brothers, one sister, and two sons.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the cemetery prior to the funeral service.
