Carlton Ray Nash, age 84, of Lake Jackson, Texas and former resident of East Bernard, Texas passed away April 26, 2004, after a brief illness. His body will be donated to Baylor College of Medicine.
Mr. Nash was born January 24, 1920, in Palestine, Texas to John and Minnie Nash.

He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Nash was a longtime employee of Getty Oil Company, where he retired in 1982.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Kay; sister and brother-in-law, Wynona and Bill Smith of Palestine; son and daughter-in-law, John and Yvonne Nash of Lake Jackson; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Elsie Worley and Kathleen; and brother, Delton.
