Joe White Jr., 66 of Rowlett, passed away July 29, 2012.

He was born Feb. 16, 1946 in Palestine, Texas, to Joe Allen White Sr. and Bonnie Faye (Coslett) White.

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather who enjoyed golfing and fishing. Joe worked in sales for American Greetings for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda (Preston) White of Rowlett; son, Joe Allen White III and wife Samantha of Kaufman; daughter, Toni Graham and husband Jeff of Rowlett; sisters, Gwen Roelfson of Houston, and Marion Hassell of Alto; brother, Kenneth White and wife Pam of Palestine; and grandchildren, Cole, Cane, Beau and Preston.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012 at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
