Funeral services will be held today for Mary Willhite at 4 p.m. in the Hassell & Foster Chapel with Rev. Darwin Scott officiating.  Burial will follow in New Addition Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.

Mary Willhite, 62, of Elkhart died Monday at 5:30 p.m. in Anderson County Memorial Hospital.  The former Mary Lanell Robertson, Mrs. Willhite was born in Paalestine on February 28, 1916, daughter of the late Bill and Dollie Moore Robertson.  She was a graduate of Palestine High and Nixon Business College.  Before returning to Anderson County in 1970, she lived in Houston for 34 years where she was employed as a business school teacher and a legal secretary.  She was a member of Park Memorial Baptist Church in Houston.

Survivors include her husband, William O. Whillhite of Elkhart and numerous nieces and nephews.
