Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Hudson Taylor, 57, of Dallas will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Tennessee Colony Union Church with Dr. W.R. Willis officiating.  Burial will be in Tennessee Colony Cemetery under the direction of Hassell & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine.

Mrs. Taylor died Sunday in Southeast Methodist Hospital, Dallas, after a sudden illness.  She was born February 11, 1925 in Tennessee Colony, daughter of H.L. (Lod) Hudson and Ashley Callaway Hudson.  She was reared in Tennessee Colony and was a former member of the Tennessee Colony Church.  She was a 1943 graduate of Palestine High School.  For the past 20 years, Mrs. Taylor had resided in Dallas and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Milo Taylor of Dallas; two sons, Roger Dale Cross of Forney and Donald Wayne Cross of Tennessee Colony; daughter, Mary Kathryn Johnson of Elmo; brother, Harold L. Hudson of Tennessee Colony; sister, Mrs. W.L. (Nelda) Wilbands of Tennessee Colony and seven grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Hassell & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine and at the Donald Wayne Cross residence, Tennessee Colony.
