Funeral services for Mrs. Tom (Eva) Radey, 82, of Palestine were held at 11 a.m. today in the Bailey Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Otis Felton and Ron Geary officiating. Burial was in East Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Radey died Saturday in Anderson County Memorial Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Palestine, Mrs. Radey was the daughter of the late S.A. and Mattie Morris Taylor. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1915 and Lon Morris College. She received her degree from Dallas Business School as an accountant. She was a charter member of the Memorial Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tom C. Radey of Palestine; stepdaughter, Mrs. Ed Hutchinson of Palestine; brother, Henry Link (Johnnie) Taylor of College Station and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Burton Brown, James W. Nicholson, Bill Starling, Russell Turbyfill, Dana Pennybacker and Jim Crook.
Honorary pallbearers were P.H. O’Neal, Gutherie Fetters, Malcolm Smith, Leon Presley, Dr. E.R. Knowles, and Dr. B.W. Bentley.
