Graveside services for David A. Perkins, 31 of Houston and formerly of Palestine, will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Land of Memory Cemetery with Rev. Benny Burlison officiating.  Local arrangements are being handled by Hassell & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Perkins died Saturday in Houston.  A native of Palestine, he was born in 1961 and was a graduate of Palestine High School.  He was predeceased by his father, A.B. Perkins.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Perkins Canterberry of Belaire; brother, James Michael Perkins of Houston; grandmother Mrs. A.B. (Beulah) Perkins of Houston formerly of Palestine; god-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Selden of Palestine and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
