Services for Ethel Nemer, 45, of Palestine, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Roselawn Park with Rev. Eugene Blankenship officiating.  Burial will be under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Miss Nemer died Friday at her residence.  She was born in Palestine on March 3, 1951, to Coster and Josephine Gorab Nemer.  She was a member of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church where she served as confirmant.  Mrs. Nemer, a graduate of Palestine, was a former deputy and dispatcher of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Abraham Nemer on June 6, 1971.

She is survived by her parents; sister, Rose Marie Farah of Corpus Christi; aunts, uncle; and nephews

Condolence calls will be received from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
