Funeral services for Miss Kay Kenderdine, 23, of Palestine, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Joe Routh officiating.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Park Cemetery under the direction Bailey Funeral Home.

Miss Kenderdine died in Dallas as the result of an automobile accident.  She was born October 2, 1957 in Palestine, daughter of R.L. and Daphne Kenderdine.  She was a 1976 graduate of Palestine High School and attended Southwest Texas State University  and the Unversity of Texas at Tyler.  She was employed by Budget Builders, Inc. of Dallas as a salesperson and was a member of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Palestine.

In addition to her parents, survivors include brothers, Robert C. Kenderdine and Stewart M. Kenderdine, both of Palestine; sister, Mrs. Michael A. (Claire) Farris of Fort Worth and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Smith, Paul Elliott, Dan Rex, Richard Farris, Ed Montgomery, John O’Keefe, Jon Gregg and Bob McKelvey.

The family requests friends make donations to St. Philip’s or to the charity of their choice.
