Funeral services for Mrs. Carmen Durham, 28, of Paalestine will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Hassell & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwight Blankenship officiating.  Burial will be in Roselawn Park.

Mrs. Durham died today in Anderson County Memorial Hospital after an illness of two years.  A lifelong Palestine resident she was born March 23, 1953, daughter of S.H. McCaleb and Marie Brock McCaleb.  She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.  She graduated from Palestine High School and Nixon Business College.  She was formerly employed by Don Hodges, Jr., CPA, and  CWH Equipment Company.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Durham of Palestine; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. S.H. McCaleb of Palestine; grandmother, Mrs. Lula Brock of Palestine; step-daughter, Cathy Durham of Palestine; sisters, Anna Wilson of Huntsville and Judy Hawkins of Gilmer.

Pallbearers will be Pat Main, Ross Bailey, Donald McNeill, Jerry Peery, Joe E. Williams and Rex Magourik.

Condolence calls will be received at the S.H. McCaleb residence.
