Services for Kenneth “K.C.” Bell, 71, of Dawson will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Lyle Huntress officiating. Burial will be in Bell Cemetery.
Mr. Bell died Monday at this residence. He was born in Loco, OK on April 5, 1925 to Steve and Beatrice Pipkin Bell. Mr. Bell was retired as conductor after 37 years with Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads. He was a member of the Fox Hunter’s Association. He also was a veteran of World War II serving with the Marines.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilborn Bell.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Naivar Bell of Dawson; daughter, Jeanette Bell Lyons of Palestine; sons, Pat Bell and Mike Bell, both of Palestine, Jeff Bell of Tyler and Kenneth Bell, Jr. of Dawson; sister, Imogene Rushing of Odessa; sever grandchildren; and three great-grand-children.
Pallbears will be J.C. Slater, Stringer Jenkins, Jim Osborn, Don Stanaland, Corky Huffman and Tommie Romine.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Oncology Department of Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
