Services for Minnie Maude Meador, 96, of Palestine will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at New Addition Annex Cemetery with Thomas W. Bailey officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine.

Mrs. Meador died Saturday evening at Cartmell Home for the Aged.  She was born on December 13, 1900, in Palestine to Jim and Sallie B. Hestor Knight.  Mrs. Meador was a stenographer for MoPac Railroad.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Meador in 1968.

She is survived by nephews, James Walker of Fort Worth and James Donovan of Houston; and nieces, Helen Boriskie of Bryan, Shirley Bailey of Houston, Sallie Reed of Clifton and Marjorie Palmer of Palestine.
