Mrs. A. R. Malloy, former Gladys Jameson of Palestine died in Tyler Monday afternoon following an illness. Funeral service are to be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Lloyd James Funeral Chapel at Tyler with Rev. Fred Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in New Addition Cemetery here with Rev. W. S. Blanton officiating. Mrs. Malloy was the youngest daughter of the late Dr. W.G. Jameson and Mrs Kate Mallard Jameson of Palestine. Her father, during his lifetime was chie surgeon of the IG&N Employees Hospital here.
She graduated from Palestine High School in 1914 and the University of Texas, Mrs. Malloy was a member of the Highland Presbyterian Curch in Tyler at the time of her death. She and her husband had been residents of Tyler since 1946 making their home at 821 West 6th Street.
Pallbearers name for the funeral are John Reeder, Crawford B. Reeder, Jr., Jerry Daniels, Jerry Townsend, Tate McCain and John McDonald.
Mrs. Maloy is surved by her husband; son, Crawford B. Reeder of Sa Antonio; niece, Mrs. W. Lamar Hamilton of Palestine; cousin, Mrs. Katherine Anderson of Palestine; nephew, David C. Malloy, Jr., of Palestine; sister, Mrs. W. T. Alexander of Palestine; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
