Services for Julia W. Sundman, 75, of Palestine and formerly of Oak Park, IL, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Dr. William Newcomb officiating.  Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sundman died Tuesday at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.   She was born in Palestine on December 11, 1920 to Albert Mathis Firebaugh and Fannie E. Walker.

She was an executive secretary.  Mrs. Sundman was a member of First United Methodist Church, Wesleyan Service Group, Palestine Evening Business & Professional Women’s Club, American Legion Auxiliary and the Poetry Society.  She was a former member of Harvey Woman’s club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Manley Sundman.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Skora of DeWitt, Iowa and Haron Sundman of Scaramento, CA; son, Steven Sundman of Sacramento, CA; sisters, Frances Hale of LaMesa, CA and Josephine Elles of Lake Side, CA and four grandchildren.
