Services for Lucille Shamburger of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Sims officiating.  Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Palestine City Cemetery with Rev. Buford Stockard officiating.

Miss Shamburger died Sunday at her home.  She was born in Palestine and had lived in Texarkana for the past 45 years.  She was a retired manager for GTE and a member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane, where she attended the Sunshine Sunday School Class.

She was a past president of Wadley Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, a former board member at the YWCA, and a member of the Arkansas council of Garden Clubs, Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council, Women for the Arts and Rose Garden Club.

She is survived by her sisters, Lorena Wordell of Seguin, Eva May Gray of Pensacola, FL., and Hilda Hays of Arlington; and a brother, Jeff W. Shamburger, Jr. of Spokane, WA.

Condolence calls will be received at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
