Services for Rena Nash Forehand McDade, 77, of Cedar Creek Lake, will be at 2 p.m. at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens with Rev. Curtis L. Mathis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Park in Athens.
Mrs. McDade died Friday in Park Highland Nursing Home in Athens. She was born April 7, 1919 in Palestine to the late Charles Luther Porter and Daisy May Parks Hastings.
Mrs. McDade was a resident of Henderson County most of her life and was a member of Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church in Seven Points.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dr. Claude H. Nash, Sr. in 1960, Edwin M. Forehand, Jr. in 1979, and Ralph McDade in 1996; and daughters, Martha Anne Nash in 1966 and Candy Nash Weatherly in 1993.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharlotte Nash of Athens; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tab Holiman, Lance Holiman, Jimmy Cleaver, Brady Holiman, E.L. “Bill” Holiman and Jay McElroy.
