Services were held for Ruth Beal Hutcheson, 83, of Arlington Texas, on Monday, October 21, 1996 at First United Methodist Church of Arlington under the direction of Arlington Funeral Home with the burial at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Texas.

She was born June 25, 1913 in Palestine, Texas.  Mrs. Hutcheson was a homemaker and died October 18, 1996.  She attended the College of Industrial Arts, now Texas Womens University in Denton, Texas, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1933 and a Master of Arts Degree in 1934 in Home Economic.  She was previously a Dietitian at Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas.  She was active in the Builder’s Class, First United Methodist Church of Arlington, a Charter Member of the Arlington Woman’s Club and a resident of Arlington since 1946.  She had been a resident of New York City for 8 years.

Mrs. Hutcheson is survived by her husband, Guy C. Hutcheson of Arlington, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law Betty and Van Barringer of Dallas, Texas, and Ann and John Hightower of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren Billy Carroll, Caroline Carroll, Jon Carroll, Carlton Hightower and Brantley Hightower,
