William G. Henson, 83, died Atwater, CA where he lived for 37 years.  Burial was at a military cemetery near Atwater.

Mr. Heson was born in Palestine on April 15, 1913, to W. G. and Janie Garland Henson.  He lived in Palestine until 1942.  He served in the Air Force from 1942 to 1963 and received the Good Conduct, Army of Occupation, United Nations Service, Korean Service and National Defense Service medals.  He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Henson.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Henson of Atwater; daughters, Patricia Mello of Atwater and Susan Roberts of Michigan; sisters, Margaret Lincoln of Palestine, Loma Loenig of Rosenberg, Rachel Henson of San Antonio and Mrs. Chester Hendrick of Keller; brother, John Riley Henson of Palestine; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
