Services for June Brede, 79, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Waters officiating.  Burial will be at Roselawn Park.  Mrs. Brede died Wednesday at Trinity Valley Medical Center.  She was born in Palestine on June 11, 1915 to Patrick Henry and Mattie Rayburn Tummins.  She was a manager for Sears.  June was Co-Valedictorian of the Palestine High School Class of 1932.

Mrs. Brede was a member of First Baptist church in Palestine and a charter member of Altrusa club of Anderson County.  She was named Altrusan of the Year in 1974 – 1975.  Mrs. breed was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Brede, in 1973; and a sister, Oneita Smith.

She is survived by friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dickey, L.L. Crabb, Larry Crabb, W.R. White, Olan Campbell and Waylan Kelley.
