Services for Doris Hilton Kiser, 73, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bailey & foster Funeral Home with Revs. Ray Biggerstaff and Roger Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Land of Memory Cemetery.
Mrs. Kiser died Tuesday in Medical Center Hospital in Tyler.
She was born July 3, 1916, in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of Jasper Nelson and Virginia Agnes Brock Hilton. She was a housewife and a gray lady volunteer at Memorial Hospital. She had been a member of Lone Pine Baptist Church for 59 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Larry (Marian) Thompson of Baker, La., Mrs. Jimmy (Virginia) Cantrell of Bullard and Shirley McInnis of Tyler; brothers, Emerson Hilton and Howard Hilton, both of Palestine; and eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Kiser was preceded in death by her husband, E.D. “Buster” Kiser, on April 6, 1972.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 – 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be A.B. Calcote, James Ray, John Dorman, Billy Webb, Robert Humphrey, Vernon Patton, Melvyn Jolly, and George Veteto.
