Dr. Leslie Paris LeGrand, an attorney and Methodist minister, died May 20, 2004.

He was survived by his wife of almost 66 years, Mary Margaret Hurley LeGrand; daughters, Lynn Guggolz and husband Bill, Mary Sue Bruno and husband Nick; and son, Leslie P. LeGrand Jr. and wife Wanda; grandchildren, Elaine Roch Young, Carolyn Roch Henneman, Ellen Perlioni, Michelle Hartmann, Leslie LeGrand III, Angela Fletcher, Dominick Bruno, Jennifer LeGrand, and Bruce LeGrand Jr.; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Bruce Gordon LeGrand. Mr. LeGrand was born May 16, 1913 in Palestine, Texas. He graduated from Rice Institute (University) where he met Mary Margaret.

Burial will be in East Hill Section of the City Cemetery in Palestine.
