Services for Jane Harrison Hazelwood, 78, of Palestine will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Dr. Weldon Morton officiating.  Burial will be in New Addition Cemetery.

Mrs. Hazelwood died Sunday in Trinity Valley Medical Center.  She was born December 16, 1911 in Palestine, daughter of Benjamin Arthur Harrison and Ruby Wynne Harrison.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Palestine.  She was a teacher at the Hollywood School and later was secretary for the Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce for four years.

Her husband, O.L. Hazelwood, preceded her in death in 1979.

She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Janice) McGuire of Seattle, Washington, Mrs. Paul (Sally) Mitchell of Sherman and Mrs. Don (Lucinda) Johnson of Palestine; son, Richard Hazelwood of Montgomery, Alabama; brother, J.B. Harrison of Palestine; 14 grandchildren; and four great-granchildren.

Condolences will be received from 6 t0 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Walker, Bob Burroughts, Maurice Rosson, Ed Bedre, Harry Selden, Henry Link, David Barnard and Jerry Mitchell
