Graveside services for Asa Oliver (Buddy) Jeffcoat, Jr., 65, of Palestine, will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.

Mr. Jeffcoat passed away Wednesday in Palestine. He was born December 9, 1946 in Anderson County to Asa Oliver and Elva Hilton Jeffcoat, Sr. He was in law enforcement. Mr. Jeffcoat was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Carrie Sue Jeffcoat.

He is survived by three sons, Jeremy, Justin and Jeff Jeffcoat, sister Sarah Honeycutt, three grandchildren and special friends Tommy and Martha Grant.

Condolence calls will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Bailey & Foster Palestine.
