Services for Lerlene Gibson of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Reily officiating.  Burial will be in Roselawn Park.

Mrs. Gibson died Sunday in Anderson County Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Angelina County on September 13, 1912 daughter of Ernest Edwin and Fannie Lou Allen Spears.  She was a member of Wesley Community Church.

Her husband, Alvie Gibson, preceded her in death in 1984.

Survivors include four daughters, Lerla Mae Gibson DuPree and Joy Berneice Gibson Harris, both of Palestine, Bobbie Lou Gibson Bridges of Glen Rose, and Martha Alvie Gibson Lee of Kilgore; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother Earnest A. Spears of Grand Saline and two nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Wade DuPree, Boyd DuPree, Clay Gibson DuPree, J. Weldon Bridges, Jim Bob Bridges and Jerry Harris, Jr.
