Services for Tom Dilley Broyles 51, of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jay Abernathy officiating.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Broyles died Thursday morning at this residence.  He was born August 24, 1949 in Tyler to Gordon Barrett and Frances Dilley Broyles.  Mr. Broyles was a member of First Baptist Church.  He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and was a member of Delta Tau Delta.  He was a stockbroker for A.G. Edwards and owned and operated Eilenberger’s Bakery from 1978 to 1994.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Barrett Broyles.

Mr. Broyles is survived by his wife, Nancy Thurmond Broyles of Palestine; mother, Frances Dilley Broyles of Palestine; daughter, Carroll Frances Broyles of Baylor University-Waco; sons, Benjamin Thurmond Broyles of Dallas and Samuel Dilley Broyles of Baylor University-Waco; sister, Lucie Broyles Jackson of Palestine and brother, Gordon Barrett Broyles, Jr., of Palestine.

Pallbearers will be Rip Baldwin, Judge Bascom Bentley, Elton Bomer, Cliff Johnson, Bill Lanning, Richard Lavinski, Larry Mayo, Larry Miller, Rinzo Morrison and Mel Turner.  Honorary pallbearers will be Palestine High School Class of 1967.

Condolence calls will be received Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
