Services for Maudie Irene McCreary Wood, 63 of Pert were at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Neches with Rev. Charales Grasty officiating.  Burial was in Mound Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.  Mrs. Wood died Saturday in Park Place Nursing Center in Tyler.  She was born in Anderson County to John and Nettie Jane Bryan McCreary.  Mrs. Wood was a member of First Baptist Church in Neches.

She is survived by her husband, O.A. “Bert” Wood of Pert; daughters, Judy Gail Wood of Tyler and Karen Sue Burkholder of Richardson; sons, Gary Gene Wood of Mesquite and Roger Dale Wood of Fort Worth; sister, Loye Belle Fort of Palestine; brother, Sid McCreary of Elkhart; and three grandchildren.
