A memorial service for Marcia Eaton Wall of Houston and formerly of Palestine was conducted Wednesday at Pines Presbyterian Church.  A private burial service in Crockett preceded the memorial.  Arrangements were by Waltrip Funeral Directors of Houston.  Mrs. Wall died of metastatic breast cancer Sunday at Memorial City Hospital in Houston.

She grew up in Palestine and lived with her husband, William Franklin Wall in Houston since 1952.  She was a Zeta Tau Alpha member of the University of Texas after attending Lindenwood.

Mrs. Wall was a substitute elementary teacher for 20 years in the Spring Branch school district and a volunteer with the Junior League of Houston and Pines Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Wall is survived by her husband of Houston; daughters, Mrs. Eric William (Edith Ann) Muehlberger of Phoenix and Jessica Spence Wall of Dallas; brother, Cornelius Earl Eaton, Jr. of Palestine; and a granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
