Services for Wanda Sue Pierce, 54, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Friendship Baptist Church in Blackfoot with Revs. Royce Vaughn and Bill Snidow officiating.  Burial will be at Rock Church Cemetery under the direction of Baily & Foster Funeral Home.  Mrs. Pierce died Monday at her home.  She was born in Anderson County on September 18, 1938 to William Henry and Ida Mae Armstrong Thompson.  She was a member of Norwood Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pierce is survived by her husband, Charles B. Pierce of Palestine; sister, Leona Carden of Blackfoot; brother, William Henry Thompson, Jr. of Palestine; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Pierce, Joey Pierce, Billy Sonia, Jim Casto, Ronald Pierce, Jason Estes and Louis Moore.
