Services for Connie McInnis, 87 of Palestine will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David V. Pittenger officiating.  Private graveside services will be held before the memorial service under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.  Mr. McInnis died Friday morning in a Houston hospital.  He was born on February 2, 1904 in Palestine, a son of Virgil McInnis and Lynette Cokerham McInnis.

He was a former director of safety for American Airlines and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.  McInnis was also a past president of the Rotary Club.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lenora Claybourn McInnis in 1985.

He is survived by his wife Grace McInnis of Palestine; a daughter, Connie McLeod of Palestine; a step-daughter, Mariann Williams of Florida; a stepson, Claude Gerald Dunn of Euless; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
