Service for Kathryn Krueger, 84, Palestine will be at 2 p.m. today at Palestine City Cemetery with Re. Bill Newcomb officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington Land of Memory Funeral Home.  Miss Krueger died Friday afternoon at Memorial Hospital.

She was born January 15, 1910 in Hearne to Leila Crawford Krueger.  She and her mother moved to Palestine shortly afterward.  She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas at Austin in 1931.  She had taught school for more than 40 years in Anderson County.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Leila Crawford Krueger.
