Services for Irma Moore Kendrick, 85, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Parker officiating.  Burial will be in New Addition Annex.  Mrs. Kendrick died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Palestine on April 21, 1907 to Turner Parker and Mary Lester Broyles Moore.

She was a teacher at Four Pines School for 20 years before retiring.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Palestine and the Delta Kappa Society.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Kendrick on August 21, 1988.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Margaret K. Carmean, Clinton, MS; son, Rev. Gilbert W. Kendrick, San Antonio; brother, Frank Moore, Palestine; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bob Carmean, Allan, Mark Niemiec, Wayne McDaniel, Edwin Perry and Chester Hendrick.
