Services for Virginia Hufsmith, 61, of Corpus Christi will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church with Rev. David Price officiating.  Burial will be in New Addition Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.  Mrs. Hufsmith died at her home Friday after a brief illness.

A native of Palestine, she was born April 10, 1930 to N.B. and Willie Belle Neel Morris.  She was a graduate of Palestine High School and attended Hockaday School in Dallas.  She graduated from the University of Texas where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.  She was a member of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Palestine.

She is survived by her husband, Frank L. Hufsmith of Corpus Christi; sister, Mrs. Phillip Williamson of San Antonio; and stepmother, Mrs. W. A. Glass, Jr. of Palestine.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Pallbearers will be Billy Gragg, Bud Womack, Newell Kane, Malcolm McDonald, Don E. Berg and J.Y. Womack.
