Graveside services for Hattie Belle Hodges, 91 of DeSoto and a longtime Palestine resident, were held at 3 p.m. today in New Addition Cemetery with Rev. David Price officiating.  Burial was under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hodges died Sunday in the Park Manor Nursing Home in DeSoto.  She was born April 1, 1899 in Crockett to George Anderson Berry and Ida Wller Berry.  She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Dallas.

Mrs. Hodges is survived by a daughter, Jane Hodges Henderson of Palestine; son, H. Darwin Hodges of Duncanville; sister, Ruth Moser of Waco; brother, Guy Small of DeSoto; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
