Services for Gladys Collins Hobson, 71 of Grapeland were at 2 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Revs. John Locklear and Danny Watkins officiating.  Burial was at Providence Cemetery.  Mrs. Hobson died Sunday at a Palestine Hospital.  She was a housewife and a member of Denson Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Lunsford Hobson of Grapeland; son John Hobson of Grapeland and Jim Hobson of Katy; stepdaughter, Mildred Posey of Harlingen; sister, Ruthie Nicholson of Palestine; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers were David Joe Hobson, Don Hobson, Bill Hobson, Jerry Don Sims, Donald Wayne Nicholson and Rusty Collins.
