Services for Robert “Bobby” Duvall, 74, of Palestine, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church with Revs. Tom Rousseau and Wayne Clute officiating.  Burial will be at Palestine City Cemetery with Palestine Masonic Lodge No. 31 in charge.  Burial will be under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.  Mr. Duvall died Saturday at a Palestine Hospital.  He was born in Palestine on December 22, 1919, to Earl and leah Lois Richardson Duvall.  He was an attorney, a member of The Texas Bar Association and a former member of Harris and Anderson counties Bar Associations.

Mr. Duvall was a member of First Christian Church in Palestine and taught Sunday School for 20 years.  He was a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 63, Senior Warden of Palestine Masonic Lodge No. 31, Palestine Chapter No. 10 R.A.M., Palestine Council No. 20 R.& S.M. Palestine Commandery No. 3 and Palestine Chapter No. 395 Order of the Eastern Star.  He served in the Air Force during World War II.

Mr. Duvall is survived by his daughter, Shalley A. Duvall of Los Angeles, CA.; sons, Scott Duvall of Houston, Shane Duvall of Matagorda and Stewart Duvall of Hollywood, CA; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Scott Duvall, Shane Duvall, Stewart Duvall, Bascom Bentley III, Ralph Kirk, William “Bill” Barnett and A. Proctor Moore.

Condolence calls will be received 6 – 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
