Services for Howard W. Calloway, 65, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Southside Baptist Church with Dr. Frank Royal and Glen “Buddy” Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Mr. Calloway died December 4, 1991.
He was born in Johnson County on October 22, 1926 to Mary Lee Foster Calloway and the late Rudolph H. Calloway. He was a patrolman for the Palestine Satellite of TU Electric, with 47 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Graser Calloway of Palestine; mother of Palestine; daughters, Judy Thrasher of Bellaire and Brenda Lee of Palestine; son, Howard and Lynn Calloway of Palestine; stepdaughter, Durenda Trimble of Palestine; stepsons, Dan Dunnahoe of Palestine and Duane Dunnahoe of New Iberia, LA; brothers, Kenneth Calloway and Wayne Calloway, both of Palestine and 16 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jack Conboy, Carroll Graser, Frank Williams, Travis Davidson, Mike Wade, Carroll Pilgrim and Lionel Burnett.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
