Services for Therese Watkins Allen, 63, of Palestine will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Otis Felton officiating.  Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery in north Anderson County.  Mrs. Allen died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Palestine on March 4, 1929 to Bayles Fred and Bertha Pugh Watkins.  She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, H.W. Allen of Palestine; daughters, Susanna Allen LeGalley of Bryan and Becky Allen Chapman of Austin; son, Mickael David Allen of Palestine; her mother of Palestine; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Lynn Chapman, Heath Brandon Chapman, Danny Joe Rampy, Chad Wayne Rampy, Frank Lynn LeGalley and Donald McNeil.
