Services for Jane Rees Moore, 68, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Cover officiating.  Burial will be at Land of Memory Cemetery.  Mrs. Moore died Monday at Park Place Nursing Center in Tyler.

She was born in Anderson County on February 24, 1923 to Martin Alexander and Edith Arledge Rees.  She worked for Lone Star Gas Co. in Palestine, and later taught kindergarten with her mother in the community for a number of years.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donovan F. Moore of Palestine; daughters, Donna Dietz of Flint and Karen Black of Round Rock; sister, Lois McFarlane of Crockett; and three children.

Pallbearers will be Merle Smith, Ed Cordell, Harold Dietz, Byron McFarland, Travis Black and Les Dietz.

Condolence calls will be received from 5 – 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
