Services for Charlsye Reeves, 85, of Palestine, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Christian Church with Dr. Tom Rousseau officiating.  Burial will follow in the Land of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Herrington Land of Memory.  Mrs. Reeves died Friday in a Fort Worth hospital.  She was born October 31, 1913 in Palestine.

Mrs. Reeves graduated from Palestine High School in 1932, lived in Palestine all of her life and was a member of the Harvey Woman’s Club.  She worked as a secretary and was a member of the First Christian Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Reeves in 1978; a son, Bill Reeves in 1974; and a sister, Evelyn Stallcup in 1997.

Mrs. Reeves is survived by a son, Robert Reeves of Arlington; a step-daughter Marily Green of Tool; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
