Funeral services for Mrs. Geniva Morton, 47, of Rt. 1, Circle R Lake, Palestine wil be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hassell & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Houston Cato officiating.  Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.

Mrs. Morton died Wednesday in Anderson County Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Anderson County, she was a member of the Concord Baptist Church.  She was a 1950 graduate of Palestine High School and also a graduate of Nixon Business College.  She was a former office worker for Glass Containers, Calhoun Packing Company, Anderson Refinery and The K-Way.

Survivors include her husband, Joe W. Morton of Palestine; sons, Brant Morton, Keith Morton and Roger Morton, all of Palestine; daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Ann Cleveland of Palestine; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Homer L. Shirey of Palestine and two grandchildren.
